John E. MacDonald
Judge John MacDonald retired from the Bench in January 2009 where he served as Chief Judge in the 35th District Court for twenty-four years. Prior to being elected to the Bench, Judge MacDonald was in the private practice of law for twenty-three years. He is a former Supervisor of Northville Township from 1980-1984 and an Elder at Ward Evangelical Presbyterian Church. He did undergraduate work at the University of Michigan and graduated from the Wayne State University School of Law. Judge MacDonald has completed a 40 hour course in arbitration and medaition.
